Hii there!

My plan was to tell about every day.

But my days can be boring to, sometimes!

So I'd rather talking about the not boring days.

Last weekend I planned a Weekend Trip with 4 other Au Pairs. Already last weekend! Time flies when you are having fun!!!!

Meet the other Au Pairs :

One german girl, one French girl and two girls from Spain.

So we went to Brighton and Seven Sisters.

Brighton is a 2 hours drive from here, and Seven Sisters even 3 hours.

So we stayed in a hostel overnight.

Saturday!

Brighton here we come!

We arrived about 11.30pm in the hostel.

This was my first hostel experience. It's a little bit strange to share your room with other people you don't know. We had 4 beds booked in a 6 person room.

We were with 5 people. One Spanish girl joined us the last moment, so she shared a bed with the other Spanish girl. Cosy.. haha!

I was very suprised that she has been able to stay free at the hostel.

The two other beds were taken by a girl from Brasilian and a boy from ..?

After we settle into the hostel, we had a picnick at the beach.

The rest of the day Sightseeing :

- Long walk over the promenade.

- Brighton Palace Pier.

- Royal Pavilion Estate.

- Nightlife Brighton (to the club)

History!

Brighton is a seaside resort on the South Coast of England.

The Brighton Palace Pier has been through the wars (literally) but at 1,722ft long and acknowledged as the finest pier ever built, we now offer traditional seaside balanced with the excitement and pace of the modern day.

The new pier was originally named The Brighton Marine Palace and was designed by Richard St George Moore (1858 - 1926).

Work started in the Palace Pier in November 1881 however the enormity of the project wasn't realised and the developers had to request permission from the government to allow extra time to complete the build.

The Royal Pavilion is an exotic palace in the centre of Brighton with a colourful history. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, this historic house mixes Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China.

We have only pictures from the outside of the Pavilion.

In the evening we made some dinner in the kitchen of the hostel.

We only bring Pasta and vegetables. So we enjoyed our pasta without sauce. One of the girls came with the plan to put some yoghurt in it. Did wasn't that bad!

Had some wine and off to the club.

Unfornately I forgot my ID Card in the hostel...(very smart of me)

From the hostel to the club, is a 40 minutes walk. To bad!

Th german girl and me decided to go back for my ID, and then going to a nice club. The other girls decided to go to a gay club.

3.00AM back in the hostel. Good Night!

5 hours of sleep later having breakfast and off we go to Seven Sisters.

Sunday!

After having breakfast we went to Seven Sisters by car. It took 45 minutes to get there. We choose a route near the coast. The view was stunning!

We parked the car by Seven Sisters Country Park. After the coffee we started to walk.

It was really beautiful!!

We walked in total 14,2 km. At first we followed the Beach Trial, and afterwarts we followed a trial to one of the Cliffs.

History!

Seven Sisters Cliffs is a series of chalk Cliffs by the English Channe; in East Sussex.

The names of the cliffs from west to east are:

1. Haven Brow

2. Short Brow

3. Rough Brow

4. Brass Point

5. Flagstaff Brow

6. Bailey's Hill

7. Went Hill.

The reason for why they were so named remains obscure.

Tired from the short night and a lot of walking, back to the car. I needed to drive for 3 hours.

Red Bull was my saving angel!

Good, nice and relaxing weekend! I am enjoying my time here :)
