Trip to Canterbury and Dover.
Canterbury is 2 hours by car.
We have visited the town and a beautiful Cathredal.
Canterbury is a popular tourist destination. Consistently one of the most-visited cities in the UK.
Back to the car and off to Dover.
If you want to go from England to the Netherlands by car. You can take the ferry from Dover. Dover is a major ferry pont. It faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, and lies South-East of Canterbury and East of Maidstone.
The white Cliffs of Dover. The cliff face, wich reaches a height of 106 metres. (348 ft.)
The Cliffs owes it's striking appearance to chalk accented by streaks of black flint. It stretch for 13 kilometres. (8 miles)
